David Bullwinkle has over 30 years' experience as a professional investor with private corporate debt and equity capital markets. His range of expertise encompasses successful consulting practices, management of major institutional lending organizations, formation and management of a venture capital fund, strategic business reviews and business development planning, as well as raising equity capital.

 

At The Centennial Funds, David formed and was Managing General Partner at Centennial Business Development Fund, Ltd., a $30 million institutionally backed private equity fund. Investments that he sponsored in this role achieved an average annual compound rate-of-return of 28%. At Centennial, David was also involved in 12 successful capital syndications, including assistance in raising from $2 million to $26 million for numerous private companies.

 

David's institutional investing work has included managing investment activities for major life insurance companies Mutual Of New York (MONY) and Great-West Life Assurance Company. As Vice-President of MONY, he was responsible for investing in excess of $1 billion over a 13-year period, and he supervised MONY's $3.4 billion direct placement securities portfolio. As Vice-President and Manager of Great-West Life's $2.5 billion U.S. Private Placement Investment Department, e increased private placement commitments by 90%, to $650 million per year.

 

David was Vice-President of Capital Formation for Forest Oil Corporation, as well as Chairman and CEO of the company's drilling program subsidiaries. He has also formed and been a partner in several successful consulting practices, including Evergreen Software Partners LLC and Bullwinkle Capital Formation Group LLC.

 

David received a BA degree in Business Administration from The Principia College and an MBA degree in Finance from the University of Michigan School of Business Administration.
